The Bank of Saint Lucia Limited is a dynamic and professional financial services institution that is currently seeking applications for suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of: SME MANAGER
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the SME portfolio.
Develop and implement strategies to attract new SME clients.
Build strong relationships with existing and potential SME customers.
Manage and grow a portfolio of SME clients to meet revenue and profitability targets.
Work closely with internal teams (e.g.,credit risk, compliance, operations, and Recoveries) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide feedback to product teams on SME needs to inform product development
Lead and mentor a team of SME officers or relationship managers.
Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and support professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Management, Accounting, or related field.
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in lending, credit assessment, and portfolio management.
A minimum of four (4) years’ experience leading a team.
Demonstrated experience in credit assessment, loan underwriting, and portfolio management is essential.
Extensive knowledge in relation to the products and services offered by the Bank and/or financial services industry.
Experience in analyzing and interpreting financial reports and legal documents.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Extensive knowledge of Core Director Banking Software.
Medium level of expertise in Microsoft of Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
