FDL Pest Control Solutions is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and an efficient problem solver, with an ability to maintain a professional demeanor in difficult or complex customer interactions.


Job Overview:

The Customer Service Representative’s position is customer-focused, requiring the ability to multi-task and effectively provide solutions to customer problems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Key Functions:


  • Interact with customers by telephone, email, and other communication channels to provide information about products and services, and to effectively handle customer inquiries and concerns

  • Contact customers to schedule and confirm service appointments and reschedule appointments if necessary

  • Perform outbound calls to customers to follow-up on services received

  • Communicate with Service Technicians to meet customers’ requirements

  • Schedule appointments for Service Technicians to minimise drive time and/or distance and suggest alternative routes when appropriate

  • Proficiently use software and work apps that are relevant to the job function to track routes and optimise current and future schedules

  • Prepare Monthly Service Reports within set timelines

  • Maintain customers’ files and accurately update their accounts with services delivered

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Minimum CAPE A’ Level subject passes in business related subjects plus six (6) CXC O’ Level passes inclusive of Mathematics, English Language, and other business related subjects

  • Be computer literate with advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in the field of Customer Service and/or Sales

  • Use strong communication skills to communicate and empathise with customers when necessary

  • Have excellent organisational and multi- tasking skills

  • Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy, and to defuse potentially volatile situations

  • Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and adhere to deadlines

  • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and/or public holidays
