Traditional Trade Manager
The incumbent will be responsible for leading and driving the sale and distribution of the full portfolio of HEINEKEN Saint Lucia products throughout the island within the Traditional Trade while also overseeing the distribution operations at our Secondary Distribution facility. The incumbent will also be responsible for collaborating with the Category Managers and the Trade Marketing function to effectively develop and lead the Sales Teams to meet and exceed Company targets, customer needs and expectations.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively lead the team to achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including volume, revenue, execution, NPS, e business and route efficiency metrics.
Lead the development of the Traditional Trade channel strategy to maximize channel performance with the support of Category Management and Trade Marketing Teams.
Manage distributor relationship and performance management aimed at ensuring a seamless and mutually beneficial partnership.
Lead the transition to digital sales and e-business adoption in assigned channels.
Ensure effective and efficient route planning to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Oversight of our Distribution Center in the North to ensure safety, efficiency and productivity.
Oversight of the stock policy and warehouse function, adherence to all finance policies specifically relating to cash management, accounts receivables, credit management etc.
Work closely with the Commercial Controller to manage fixed expenses and submit monthly budget forecasts
Use a revenue management approach to identify and define channel offers and initiatives to ensure mutual growth.
Support the deployment of CAPEX and OPEX budget for sales and distribution warehouse.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree in Marketing, International Marketing and/or Business Management or similar field of study.
A minimum of five (5) years or more commercial and/or sales/marketing experience at a senior level leading a team.
Ability to initiate and deliver change and performance management.
Holder of a valid driver’s license.
