We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities & Security Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of multiple company locations. This role includes strategic oversight of physical security, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and problem-solver with a background in facilities and security management across diverse sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilities Management
Ensure all buildings, grounds, and infrastructure are maintained to high standards.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Manage relationships with service providers, contractors, and vendors.
Develop and manage facilities budgets, including forecasting and cost control.
Security Oversight
Implement and monitor security protocols across all sites.
Liaise with security personnel and external agencies to ensure site safety.
Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.
Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Lead emergency preparedness planning and drills.
Maintain documentation for inspections, permits, and certifications.
Team Leadership
Supervise and support on-site facilities staff.
Provide training and development opportunities.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree in Building Technology or a related field.
Skills certificates in refrigeration, air conditioning, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems (preferred).
Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations and emergency protocols.
Minimum 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or building services, preferably in a multi-site or construction environment.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects across multiple locations.
Strong interpersonal skills for vendor management, team coordination, and reporting.
Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems (e.g., Eye On Task).
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between store locations.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Frequent travel between satellite business locations.
Occasional evening or weekend work for emergency repairs or project deadlines.
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and inspections.
