Talent Acquisition Partner. The ideal candidate is a resourceful people-focused expert who will manage all our human  resource procedures for talent acquisition including sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, employer  branding, headcount management and exits. 


THE ROLE: 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Efficiency Expert: Coordinate the employee recruitment process to ensure a timely, organized and  comprehensive procedure is used to hire. This process will include supporting hiring managers with  the development and revision of Job Descriptions, liaising with recruitment service providers, resume  review, scheduling of interviews, interviewing, shortlisting applicants, and communicating with  applicants via email and phone. 


Talent Scout: Develops and implement strategic candidate attraction and generation hiring  procedures, to build, maintain and retain, a measurable talent pipeline. This includes attending  recruitment and job fairs to promote the brand and find prospective employees. 


Candidate Assessor: Support the selection process by scheduling interviews, managing pre employment assessments, conducting interviews, conducting reference/background checks and  interviewing. Evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience and skills to ensure they align with the  position requirements and organizational needs and values.  


Relationship Builder: Partner with hiring managers to understand roles, provide direction, and act  as a subject matter expert. Develop relationships with schools and vocational institutions to support  internships and job placements. 


Candidate Advocate: Ensure candidates have a positive experience with timely feedback and  updates. Support the onboarding process: set up new hire orientation, administer the creation of new  employee files ensuring that it is in accordance with the established onboarding requirements. 


Social Media Enthusiast: Promote and build employer brands through online platforms. 


Project Participation: Support employee engagements activities with the aim of excellent event  execution. Provide periodic training to companywide department leads in company recruitment  processes, interviewing skills, etc. 


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Track and report key recruiting metrics.  

  • Respond to employees’ queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner in  accordance with Company policies and aligned to good industrial relations principles and  practices. 

  • Input and maintains data in the HRIS for all new employees from hire to probation completion  and support the reporting requirements. 

  • Adhere to employment laws and best practices.

  • Perform administrative work: filing, copying, scanning, drafting correspondences, and  reports. 

  • Support additional projects being carried out by the wider Human Resources team. 


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management/Administration or a related  field preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered. 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in talent acquisition.  

  • Proficiency with MS Outlook and Microsoft Office tools and excellent written and verbal  communication skills.  

  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, be flexible to change, and adapt to shifting  priorities 

  • Team player with a high sense of urgency. 

  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong passion to contribute to the team’s  success. 

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including management.
