Trade Development Coordinator

General Responsibilities:

• Support the rollout and execution of trade aviation, promotional campaigns and in-store initiatives across assigned accounts in line with the commercial calendar and agreed standards.

• Ensure point-of-sale (POS) material are delivered , correctly placed and maintained at the trade level in accordance with the planogram standards.

• Conduct regular trade visits to verify execution quality, identify gaps, and take corrective action or escalate as required.

• Assist in coordinating product sampling, demonstrations, and in-store events to drive consumer engagement and trial.

• Ensure all promotional mechanics are correctly implemented at store level and that pricing, signage and displays are compliant with agreed plans.

• Support account growth representatives in planning and executing shelf layouts, product.

• Assist in planning and coordinating of promotional activities across the trade, including price promotions, bundle offers, and seasonal campaigns.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field

• 1-2 years experience in a sales support, trade marketing, merchandising or, customer-facing commercial role.

• Experience working in an FMCG, consumer goods, or trade/retail environment is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail

• Basic commercial awareness-understanding of promotions, pricing, and trade dynamics.

• Ability to observe, document, and communicate trade conditions clearly and concisely.

• Collaborative team player who works effectively in support of others.
