Bambou Resort in Martinique invites qualified applicants from Saint Lucia to apply for the following position.
Position Overview
Job Title: Bartender
Department: Bar / Food & Beverage
Location: Trois-Ilets, Martinique (97229)
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (6 months)
Working Hours: 39 hours/week, including weekends and public holidays
Hourly Rate: €12.31 gross/hour
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
Qualification Level: Skilled Employee
Industry: Hotel & Hospitality (100–199 employees)
Key Responsibilities
Stock and organize the bar with necessary products
Monitor inventory levels, identify supply needs, and place requisition orders
Carry out daily inventory checks
Receive deliveries and ensure proper storage of products
Set up products and equipment according to established procedures
Welcome guests and prepare beverages following standard recipes
Serve customers at the bar counter, in the dining area, and on the terrace/lounge
Handle billing and payment collection for beverages served
Clear tables and the bar counter; maintain cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas
Wash and maintain glassware
Inform guests about the venue's activities and offerings
Apply the establishment's commercial policy
Ensure guest satisfaction and follow up proactively
Required Skills & Attributes
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Rigorous and precise in execution
Responsive and adaptable under pressure
Education & Languages
CAP, BEP or equivalent qualification in Bar Services/Hospitality preferred
English: basic working knowledge
Working Conditions
Weekend and public holiday work required, according to schedule
Uniform provided by the establishment, to be worn as required
Possible participation in special events (themed evenings, buffets, etc.)
