Bambou Resort in Martinique invites qualified applicants from Saint Lucia to apply for the following position.
Position Overview
Job Title: Cook
Department: Kitchen / Food Production
Location: Trois-Ilets, Martinique (97229)
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (6 months)
Working Hours: 39 hours/week, including weekends and public holidays
Hourly Rate: Negotiable, based on experience
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
Qualification Level: Skilled Employee
Industry: Hotel & Hospitality (100–199 employees)
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and planning of the menu
Prepare dishes: seafood, meat and fish, starters and desserts, etc.
Manage the hot station
Oversee stock management
Maintain and clean the workstation
Required Skills & Attributes
Proactive and solution-oriented
Rigorous and precise in execution
Responsive and adaptable under pressure
Education & Languages
CAP, BEP or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts
English: basic working knowledge
Driving license B (light vehicle) required
Working Conditions
Weekend and public holiday work required, according to schedule
Uniform provided by the establishment, to be worn as required
Possible participation in special events (themed evenings, buffets, etc.)
