A small business in the Service Industry is looking for a highly effective, dynamic and motivated individual to join its team as Administrative Marketing Officer. The successful individual will possess a strong Administrative or Marketing background, attention to detail is essential and preferably with a sound understanding of customer service and market dynamics.

The ideal candidate should possess at least a Tertiary Education with a Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Administrative Management, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field and a minimum of two years’ experience in an Administrative Position. The Applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be fully computer literate. The candidate must be willing to learn and undergo training.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer and screen phone calls and general mail and serve as the first point of contact for the Company

  • Sort mail and ensure efficient records management

  • Support the administrative functions of the Company

  • Convene and coordinate requests for relevant meetings and activities both within and outside the company and supports the Company in the planning and preparation of meetings, activities and events

  • Provide good customer service and marketing support to drive business

  • Provide feedback to current or potential customers

  • Collect and record payments accurately

  • Maintain financial records and petty cash

  • Manages customer queries and provide information in a timely manner

  • Screen enquiries, correspondence and requests to provide improve sales and business

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
