We are seeking a motivated individual who desires a challenging career and increasing responsibilities. Successful candidates will participate in engineering designs, structural condition assessments, and other related consultancy projects in Saint Lucia and possibly in the other OECS islands.
Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of civil and structural engineering projects
Work together with ECMC’s senior engineers from the inception of projects/programs
Interact regularly with consultants and other professionals, technical staff, and senior engineers at ECMC in developing overall project objectives, strategies, and budgets
Arrange and attend meetings with clients for whom ECMC is acting as a consultant
Conduct site monitoring of projects to assure the control of construction quality
Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and best practices
Familiarity with regional and international standards
Time management and organization skills
Proficiency in structural analysis and design engineering software and CAD applications will be an asset
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering with two years of working experience
