ExelSign - Driver/Sign Installation Technician

Job Summary

Operates company vehicles to scheduled work sites. Oversees the transportation, installation, maintenance, or removal of various signage for clients.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze work orders and plan daily travel schedules accordingly.

• Order and gather required components and parts for installation in a timely manner.

• Load and transport signs, tools, materials, and equipment safely to job locations.

• Maintain daily functionality of tools and equipment by following operating instructions and ensuring adequate supplies are available to avoid delays.

• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.

• Build and maintain positive client relationships by responding to concerns and providing effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Prepare and assemble materials required for effective production and installation.

• Prepare the site for installation by removing old signage and preparing surfaces or structures as necessary.

• Mount and install signs in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.

• Ensure proper alignment, secure fitting, and professional finishing of all signage.

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in sign installation or a similar role.

• At least two (2) years’ driving experience with a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, including drills and other installation equipment.

• Sound knowledge of installation methods, materials, and safety procedures.

• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and professional installation.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
