Petrus Private Bank Limited is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Operations Administrator II.
Responsibilities include:
Account Opening and Maintenance (KYC updates, account closure etc.)
Transaction processing (incoming and outgoing remittances, internal transfers, foreign exchanges, trade orders, corporate actions, SWIFT messages etc.)
Ensure adherence to process and documentation standards
Reconciliation of cash and securities positions
Provide strong support to the Head of Operations and Operations team
Work with service partners, custodians, counterparties to ensure prompt transaction processing and settlement within established timelines
Investigate and accurately respond to transaction related inquiries in a timely manner
Resolve client inquiries and complaints and support preventative actions.
Ensure that transactions are processed in compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Any adhoc tasks or projects assigned by the Senior Administrator or Head of Operations
Knowledge and/or Skills Requirements:
Associates Degree in Business Management or related discipline
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Banking/Financial Environment
Good knowledge of banking, corporate and anti-money laundering law required
Knowledge of banking and investments products, especially as it relates to the international financial services industry
Knowledge of SWIFT, CRS and FATCA is essential
Strong attention to detail
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
AML Training
Strong Team player
Ability to work independently without supervision
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work in a dynamic environment
Ability to resolve problems with minimal guidance
Maintain highest level of discipline (punctuality, attendance, grooming standards)
