Overview

Seeking enthusiastic applicants with an interest in customer service and the hospitality industry. Successful candidates should be willing to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening the bar and café area and preparing for the day’s service.

• Preparing beverages on the menu and accommodating reasonable customer requests using available ingredients, as approved by management.

• Serving and clearing tables whenever necessary.

• Processing food and beverage orders through the POS system, receiving payments, managing cash transactions, and reconciling the till at the end of each shift.

• Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels within the bar area.

• Ensuring the proper care and upkeep of all equipment, including coffee machines, refrigerators, freezers, and chillers.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming bar area at all times.

• Ensuring music is playing throughout service by monitoring and charging the dedicated smartphone and speaker system, and adjusting volume levels when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to take initiative and work as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Experience is an asset but is not required.
