The Corner Boutique & Café - Operations Supervisor

The Corner Boutique & Café is seeking a proactive Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations, support staff, and help maintain a high standard of service. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, solves problems, and can keep operations running smoothly in a busy hospitality environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily café operations and ensure opening procedures are completed.

• Supervise staff attendance, punctuality, performance, and adherence to company standards.

• Coordinate daily staff duties and make immediate adjustments when operational issues arise.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, food-service standards, and the overall presentation of the establishment.

• Monitor customer service and address routine customer concerns professionally.

• Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and report inventory needs.

• Assist with coordinate routine supply collections as required.

• Assist with staff coaching and on-the-job training.

• Identify and resolve routine operational challenges promptly.

• Enforce company policies and procedures and ensure staff consistently comply with established rules, service standards, and operational guidelines.

• Provide daily updates and escalate significant issues to management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Experience in restaurant, café, retail, or hospitality operations.

• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

• Ability to supervise staff and manage competing priorities.

• Reliable, punctual, proactive, and solution-oriented.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to use basic digital tools for communication, reporting, and recordkeeping.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle would be an asset.
