Regulatory & Professional Affairs Coordinator

(For Medical Services – Saint Lucia)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to manage work permits, medical licenses, professional registrations, and related regulatory processes for overseas clinical staff joining our medical services organization in Saint Lucia. 


Our doctors, surgeons, nurses, optometrists, and other specialists often relocate from overseas. Their ability to practice depends on a well-managed,compliant, and timely regulatory process. 


This role is central to ensuring this happens smoothly. 

The successful candidate will bring structure, persistence, urgency, and professionalism to a process that requires coordination across multiple government and regulatory bodies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all work permit applications and renewals

  • Coordinate medical, pharmacy, and other professional license applications and renewals

  • Liaise effectively with relevant councils and government departments

  • Prepare, review, and submit all required documentation and certifications

  • Track application progress and proactively follow up to avoid delays

  • Maintain organized compliance records and status reporting

  • Support onboarding of new international clinical staff

  • Communicate professionally and confidently with senior medical professionals

  • Provide clear updates to leadership

  • Opportunity to grow into additional administrative support for the CEO in business development role .

  • High sense of ownership and urgency• Discreet and reliable with sensitive information

  • Experience in healthcare administration, regulatory coordination, or immigration/work permit processing is an advantage
