Position: Laundry Attendant 

Location: Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia

Position Summary:  

Are you hardworking, dependable, and committed to maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness  and quality? Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our  Laundry Team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our guests and service outlets receive clean,  fresh, and professionally maintained linens, towels, and uniforms that meet the resort's high standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press resort linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.  

• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, presses, and folding  equipment.  

• Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, and wear, and report concerns to the Laundry  Supervisor.  

• Ensure proper handling and storage of detergents, chemicals, and cleaning agents in accordance  with safety standards.  

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility and storage areas. 

 • Monitor linen inventory and assist with stock replenishment.  

• Follow all resort standards, policies, and procedures relating to hygiene, safety, and quality  control.  

• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly.  

• Assist with other housekeeping-related duties as assigned.  

Qualifications & Requirements 

• Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality environment is an asset. 

 • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.  

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, or pull laundry carts and supplies. 

 • Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. 

 • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
