Golden Eggs Farms Ltd.- Maintenance Supervisor

Golden Eggs Farms Ltd. is currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all the maintenance needs of the company are kept to high operational standards. This role involves scheduling preventative maintenance, managing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards at all the business locations.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance

• Prepare weekly maintenance roster and schedules and allocate work

• Utilizes data to track performance and plan maintenance schedules

• Prepares reports, documents and maintenance activities accurately

• Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians and farm workers

• Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers, etc.)

• Inspect and maintain building systems (ventilation, egg system, etc.)

• Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance

• Manages spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets effectively

• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

• Performing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role

• High school diploma as well as technical certification in mechanical systems, HVAC and electrical installation is preferred

• Knowledge of health and safety practices

• 3+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Understanding of budget and performance management

• Excellent planning and leadership abilities

• Valid manual driver’s license endorsed for Class C (trucks) would be required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics

• Clean police record
