Join our team and embark on an exciting journey in the tourism industry! We are looking for an experienced leader to join the Management Team at Harrison's Cave Eco-Adventure Park. As the Operations Manager, you will hold a pivotal role within our organization. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will be the senior accountable officer for the Operations Departments.


KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Strategic Contribution - participation in the development and execution of organizational strategies and policies by being an integral part of the Senior Management Team (SMT).

  • Tour Development - spearheading the development and maintenance of all tours, activities, and excursion experiences.

  • Infrastructure Management - overseeing the maintenance of all buildings, major equipment and landscape at the location. Also responsible for overseeing any infrastructural projects undertaken at the location.

  • Security Management - development of strategies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

  • Team Leadership providing direct management and leadership to all operational supervisors.

  • Financial Management assisting the Country Manager in maintaining full responsibility for the financial performance of the Operation Departments, including budgeting, setting targets, and ensuring profitability.

  • Market Analysis - staying up-to-date on industry trends and customer preferences, and recommending and leading the implementation of new tours and activities accordingly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Post-graduate degree in Management, Hospitality or a related field.

  • At least ten (10) years of customer-facing and operations experience in the hospitality sector. At least five (5) years in a related senior position in the Tourism Industry.

  • Proven record in leading business and operational processes, including budgeting, financial analysis and operations/strategic planning.

  • Solid understanding of Tour Operations, Logistics, and Customer Service, with a keen eye for identifying market opportunities and developing new experiences to meet customer preferences.

  • Computer literacy with familiarity of computerized information systems used in Reservations/Dispatch, Resource Management, and Marketing.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
