MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

We are seeking a qualified, innovative Maintenance Engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, the Maintenance Engineer will ensure management and control over all equipment, mechanical operations and associated manpower.
Engineering aptitude, a high attention to detail and the ability to provide leadership in all areas within the Maintenance Department are necessary skills for this role.
Maintenance Engineer - Job Duties and Responsibilities
The oversight of all plant equipment operations and related support areas.
Responsibility for Total Plant Maintenance.
Responsibility for receiving, establishing and assisting with set- up or commissioning of all new equipment.
Directing use of all equipment to ensure the most efficient operation of such, including educating and training of production operators and other required staff.
Establishing and implementing maintenance policies and procedures for all equipment including preventative maintenance programs.
Developing and maintaining the master maintenance schedule and .
Controlling and directing preventative maintenance programs.
Coordinating with the Production Supervisor to schedule maintenance for machinery.
Up keeping equipment spares and required documentation for all machinery.
Ensuring damaged or worn equipment is repaired or replaced in a timely manner, limiting downtime to a minimum.
Diagnosing the origin of breakdowns (including human error) and troubleshooting problems.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with good communication skills
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Electrics/Electronics: electric installation. circuit boards, processing chips., electronics.
Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Access).
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Detail-oriented and extremely efficient.
Ability to maintain positive vendor and client relationships.
Operate as a member of a team.
