Key Responsibilities:
Focus on building strong relationships with employees at all levels of the business and providing guidance, mentoring and coaching.
Assist in the development of implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with line managers to identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment process, from interviews to assessments.
Support employee development by identifying training opportunities and coordinating learning programs aligned with our company & values.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of performance management programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
Take an active role in ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health policies, laws and regulations.
Handle employee complaints and concerns, conduct thorough investigations and provide timely solutions.
Assist in maintaining accurate compensation records, conducting compensation research, and updating policies as needed.
Participate in industrial relations matters and meetings, contributing to positive employee relations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices to ensure our HR practices remain relevant and effective.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities and the capacity to mentor and motivate staff.
Proficient communication skills encompassing speaking, active listening and writing.
Ability to uphold the highest standards of ethics, ensure confidentiality and maintaining integrity in all HR matters.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or relevant study.
At least 2 years' experience in Human Resource.
Experience utilising Human Resource Management Systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
