Flowers Express inc. - Delivery Driver

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating and executing customer deliveries efficiently and accurately while maintaining excellent customer service, proper documentation and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.

• Process, track and update orders using delivery management system.

• Verify orders, invoices and delivery details for accuracy.

• Maintain daily accurate reports, logs and signed receipts.

• Ensure all deliveries meet company quality and presentation standards.

• Provide professional customer service and promptly report delivery issues to the Operations Manager.

• Maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean, fueled and roadworthy condition.

• Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and ensure essential delivery tools are available.

• Coordinate the collection of flowers, foliage and supplies while verifying inventory against invoices.

• Record damaged or spoiled merchandise and maintain accurate inventory documentation.

• Collect and reconcile cash-on-delivery payments and ensure timely deposits.

• Assist with basic floral arrangements and repairs when required.

• Follow company safety procedures, traffic regulations and operational guidelines.

• Participate in staff meetings, training and operational improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or CXC Certificate.

• Basic computer and data entry skills.

• Valid driver's license.

• Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate records.

• Professional appearance and a commitment to quality service.

Working Hours

7:45 AM – 4:30 PM

To ensure accurate, timely and professional deliveries while maintaining customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and the company's service standards.
