Petrus Private Bank Limited is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of  Operations Administrator.


Responsibilities include:


  • Facilitate account opening, maintenance and closure of client accounts

  • Accurate and timely processing of client transactions within core banking platform (incoming and outgoing remittances, internal transfers, foreign exchanges, trade orders, corporate actions, SWIFT messages etc.)

  • Adherence to process and documentation standards

  • Provide document management assistance to Operations team

  • Work with Operations team to ensure prompt transaction processing and settlement within established timelines

  • Ensure that transactions are processed in compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

  • Any adhoc tasks or projects assigned by the Senior Administrator or Head of Operations


Knowledge and/or Skills Requirements:


  • Associates Degree in Business Management or related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Banking/Financial Environment

  • Knowledge of banking and investments products, especially as it relates to the international financial services industry

  • Knowledge of SWIFT, CRS and FATCA is essential

  • Computer literate 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • AML Training

  • Team player

  • Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work in a dynamic environment

  • Maintain highest level of discipline (punctuality, attendance, grooming standards)
