Rotoplastics - Operations & Sales Manager (Apply Now!!)

The following guidelines are intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed. They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required.


To effectively lead and manage the Rotoplastics St. Lucia Operations. Responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating daily operations, organizational policies, sales, profitability, and human resources. Effectively provide strategic direction in Sales and incorporate data into the Company’s sales database to increase revenue with guidance from Rotoplastics Head Office. Pay special attention to and promote workplace safety at all times.

  • Be responsible and accountable for the daily operations of Rotoplastics (Saint Lucia) Limited, ensuring compliance with St. Lucian regulations.

  • Be responsible and accountable for Marketing and Sales objectives of Rotoplastics St. Lucia by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.

  • Develop operating budgets and provide strategic direction to the sales and operations team with Guidance from Rotoplastics Head Office.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective, efficient, and safe conduct of all of the Company’s operations.

  • Supervise employees, which includes but is not limited to, work allocation, training and development, problem resolution, performance evaluations, taking disciplinary action as necessary, and motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.

  • Participate in and co-ordinate the design and implementation of data collection and analysis of systems for Rotoplastics (Saint Lucia) Limited, to include computer and/or network systems and administrative procedures.

  • Manage and co-ordinate the Operational Infrastructure of Rotoplastics (Saint Lucia) Limited.

  • Ensure the team has optimal production solutions and equipment needs, whilst continuously maintaining and controlling the facilities and infrastructure of the factory.

  • Oversee forecasting of facility capabilities and annual production operating budget.

  • Be responsible for ordering Subsidiary stock with input from the Production / Warehouse Supervisor to maintain most appropriate inventory levels and minimize stock outs.

  • Prepare monthly or as required report on the sales and operational positions of the company.

Demonstrate proficiency and consistency in the use of the following:

  • Computers and computer software (Microsoft, e-mail, internet)

  • Production Reports/Schedules

  • Time Off Request Form

  • Performance Appraisal Form

  • Purchase Requisition

  • Purchase Order

  • Delivery Note

  • Sales Invoice

  • Credit Note

  • Receipts

  • Cheque Requisition Voucher


  • The knowledge of policies and procedures contained in the Employee Manual and other relevant documents and consistency in ensuring that same are adhered to.

  • The willingness to work together with and accept direction from Management and peers to improve quality, customer satisfaction, performance, and profitability.

  • The ability to recommend additions/changes to procedures that would enhance and/or improve Company’s capabilities. It may be necessary at some stage, due to exigencies that may arise, to perform duties other than those normally falling within your ambit.
